What to say:

I am writing to support the campaign to restore the grant to the Warehouse Theatre.

The Warehouse Theatre is a valuable and important part of Croydon. For almost thirty years it has brought high quality theatre to the town. Many top actors, comedians, directors and above all writers have been given their first chance by the Warehouse Theatre. For many local people, the theatre has given them their first taste of professional theatre.

Culture should be a valuable part of Croydon's economy and vibrancy. Theatre can give people pride, educate, liberate, stimulate. Venues like the Warehouse are integral to local economies - not just attracting visitors to Croydon and giving local people pride, but also helping to bring new businesses and enterprises to the town.

Cutting the grant will harm Croydon's culture. It will hurt its loyal and potential audience. Above all it will damage Croydon's pride.

Please help restore the grant to the Warehouse Theatre.

Yours sincerely...
