The Co-operative Party is part of the global co-operative movement. Over 800 million people are members of co-operatives worldwide, and the UN estimates that the livelihood of three billion people is made more secure by co-operatives.

We work with the Labour Party in Croydon, London and across the UK to influence its policies towards more co-operative solutions locally on Croydon Council and nationally in government.

We believe in individual empowerment and self-help initiative.

We believe that a better share of this planet's wealth between Northern and Southern hemispheres and a greater respect for our environment will help us build a sustainable, safer and progressive society.
