ARTICLE: Testing out an idea

Croydon's a big place. But it's a suburb, where we live anonymously and without ever really choosing to. I've always noticed how people who still live in the borough won't admit to it, whereas our former sons and daughters will write from Australia or Grimsby to the Advertiser to boast about their Croydon roots. So how come our efforts at an online community have been so pants? Isn't it about time we got our act together and had something more than websites for Croydon's bars.

I thought I might have a go at putting together a community to reflect Croydon life as it is today. Got ideas? Let me know.
